What data does Unrival process?

We only collect and process the following personal data on key individuals within target organisations and provide this information to our Customers, in accordance with our agreed terms of service:
- first name;
- job title;
- job description;
- company;
- last name;
- social media handle(s);

Where does Unrival process data from?

Data is gathered from open and freely available public sources which can include:
- professional and business social media networking sites;
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator;
- website(s) of the target company;
- industry and news sites;
- technical repositories such as github.

What are the rights of the individual?

You have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data.
The rights include:
- access to your personal data;
- correction of your personal data;
- erasure of your personal data;
- object to processing of your personal data;
- restriction of processing your personal data;
- transfer of your personal data;
- and right to withdraw consent.

If you are an individual whose Headline Data we are processing and you would like to contact us about any aspect of our data processing, or request we delete or remove your personal data, please contact us.

How does Unrival balance the rights of the individual with its data processing?

We rely on the lawful basis of legitimate interests when processing any personal data and conduct a Legitimate Interests Assessment in each case, to ensure that our interests are not overriding the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals (data subjects).

We believe such processing is permissible on the basis that the personal data is:
- limited to the previously named categories;
- publicly available;
- business information;
- researched and verified for accuracy;
- supports the original intent of publication;
- and only processed in accordance with and in anticipation of customer instructions and our contract for services with Customers.

We will only retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

I think my data has been processed; why hasn’t Unrival contacted me?

Unrival is a strategic planning and insight tool, not a direct marketing database. As part of our process we do not collect or process any Contact Data and consequently we are unable to contact you directly.
